Term 2: Tuesday evening classes

Where: Sim+Co Art Space. 83a Unley Rd, Parkside SA

When: Starts Tuesday 28th April, 6:30 - 9:00pm, 8 week term.

30x30 for Sala

Join me for a term of exploring the 30x30 format, in a variety of surfaces. Choosing any subject that inspires you we will explore composition, creating a series, preparing surfaces, painting techniques, mixed media, and completing work for exhibiting, including mounting work and mechanisms for hanging it. At the end of the term a work may be selected to be submitted to the Sim + Co group exhibition that will display during the Sala festival, 2026.

Loosening up with acrylics, - 4-week painting course. Materials supplied.

Discover the joy of expressive acrylic painting in this relaxed and supportive short course. Suitable for beginners and experienced painters, and anyone who wants to break away from tight, controlled painting and develop a looser, more intuitive approach to painting.

What’s included: All materials supplied including paints, surfaces to paint on, brushes, pallets, mediums and more. Step by step demonstrations, including painting techniques, colour theory, brush and pallet work.

Option to bring your own reference photos to paint from, or you can use some of mine.
